Online Programs Summary
School of Business & Management
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program at NDNU fosters innovation, management, and leadership competencies through analytical decision-making and problem solving. Our MBA program develops professional skills recognized as essential in today’s business environment, including strategic thinking, interpersonal communication, critical decision-making, leadership, leveraging technological advances, systems thinking, ethics, and corporate social responsibility. The program combines theory with practice to explore the evolving nature of managerial practices and factors impacting an increasingly technology-driven, globalizing business environment.
BS BA Degree Completion is open to any domestic student who has completed at least 45 undergraduate credits at an accredited university or community college. The BS BA Degree Completion program will be available as a pure asynchronous online program (no scheduled class meetings but regular faculty interaction) that provides a comprehensive foundation in business management. The program includes a streamlined General Education component in addition to the BS in Business Administration major.

Do you want to help students discover a love of learning? Are you an educator or someone looking for a career change who seeks to better serve struggling students? NDNU is proud to be one of only three schools in the U.S. to offer a Master of Arts in Educational Therapy (MA Ed Therapy) degree. This important area of in-depth study will give you a foundation. If you already have the skills, we can further develop your skills in assessment and intervention techniques to help children and adults who have various types of learning challenges.
The goal of this degree program is to build the capacity of educators to promote social justice in their schools and communities through improved teaching practice, curriculum development, instructional design and assessment, program planning, and research. This program also prepares graduates to assume leadership and consulting roles in organizations with an educational focus.
The Master of Arts in Education Program offers courses emphasizing curriculum and instruction. Students enroll in four courses designed specifically to enhance their curriculum development and assessment skills.
Notre Dame de Namur University has long been recognized for the excellence of our programs in education. Presently, the NDNU education department offers two education specialist credentials: mild/moderate or moderate/severe. Both provide the option to add the master of arts in special education. Many of our alumni are active teachers and administrators in San Mateo County and throughout the peninsula. Personalized attention and individualized advising for students, field-oriented programs, and successful placement of credential graduates have characterized the teacher education program since its inception in 1953.
NDNU’s Education Specialist Credential with a Master of Arts in Special Education prepares students to teach in special education settings in public and private schools, K-12 and up to age 22. Mild/Moderate credential holders teach students in resource specialist programs, special day classes for learning disabilities, and some full inclusion students. Moderate/Severe credential holders will be able to teach students whose needs are more severe.

One semester of student teaching is spent at the middle or junior high level and one semester at the high school level. We place NDNU students at two of the 30 + public schools districts where we have contracts.
The Single Subject Program at NDNU is a post-baccalaureate program, which requires a full fifth year, or 31 – semester units, of study.

The Multiple Subject Program at NDNU is a post-baccalaureate program, which requires a full fifth year, or 33 – semester units, of study.
NDNU is renowned for its education programs, offering credentials in Mild Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) and Extensive Support Needs (ESN) specializations, with an option to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) in Special Education. Since 1953, the program has been recognized for its personalized support, field-based learning, and successful graduate outcomes.

School of Psychology
The 37-unit MSCP program prepares aspiring unlicensed master’s level mental health professionals for diverse roles in clinical, business, industry, and organizational settings.
We offer two tracks: Business, Organizational, and Consulting Psychology and Consulting and Applied Psychology which may be completed in 1.5-2 years. Students train for opportunities in both clinical and business settings and for future doctoral studies.
The 60 unit, MSCP/MFT program prepares you to become a licensed marriage and family therapist (MFT) and is also a pathway for future doctoral studies.
Our program takes 2-3 years to complete and meets all the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements.
Grounded in an integrative, depth-oriented approach, we emphasize clinical training, community engagement, and diversity in our academic, theoretical, and learning approaches.
The 67 unit, MSCP/MFT/LPCC program is a unique option for you to pursue clinical licenses as both a marriage and family therapist (MFT) and professional clinical counselor (LPCC), and offers a pathway for future doctoral studies.
Our program takes 2-3 years to complete and meets all the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements.
Grounded in an integrative, depth-oriented approach, we emphasize clinical training, community engagement, and diversity in our academic, theoretical, and learning approaches.
Our fully online, asynchronous BA Psych Degree Completion Program offers options for synchronous meetings, providing flexibility for your schedule. With the ability to transfer up to 78 units towards the required 120 undergraduate units for graduation, you can accelerate your progress. We welcome concurrent enrollment during your first semester and offer up to 12 units of graduate-level courses at undergraduate prices. A minimum of 45 transfer units is required to enroll in this program, designed to help you efficiently complete your degree and advance your career prospects.
