Topic: The Present & Future of Remote Work
Featuring Dr. Nicholas Bloom
The Present & Future of Remote Work:
Where has the U.S. settled on working from home (WFH)? Does this vary by city, industry or age? Dr. Bloom will discuss how best to manage employees in a hybrid or remote work environment, including the importance of anchor days, performance focus, and extra days for new hires. He’ll also discuss some of big impacts of WFH on the economy and society, including the effects on cities, real estate, and leisure activities.
Dr. Bloom has been researching and sharing his views on the impact of working from home for over 20 years, including talking at Ted-X, and is regularly featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, BBC, PBS, CNN and other major national and international media. He was elected to the Bloomerg50 in 2023 for his impact on working from home research.
