Notre Dame de Namur University Changes to Online Class Format to Help Prevent Coronavirus
Students directed not to return to campus following spring break

Belmont, Calif.—Notre Dame de Namur University announced today that they will begin offering all classes in an online format starting the week of Monday, March 16, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus. Currently there are no cases of coronavirus on the Notre Dame campus, and students are away on spring break. The university directed students not to return to campus when spring break ends on Monday, March 16, and to prepare for instruction to switch to an online format beginning on March 19. Spring 2020 semester will continue in an online format until conditions change.
In addition, the university announced that all campus and athletic events are cancelled until further notice.
