Terri Givens is currently a Professor of Political Science at McGill University and is the founder of the Center for Higher Education Leadership and Brighter Professional Development.
She is the author of Radical Empathy: Finding a Path to Bridging Racial Divides. In this talk she will focus on her experiences as a leader in higher education, including as provost at Menlo College. She will explain the components of inclusive leadership, and the ways that we can all use the six steps to radical empathy to create change in our workplaces and communities.
As an accomplished speaker, author, consultant, and mentor, Terri is using her platform to develop leaders’ understanding of the importance of diversity and encourage personal growth through empathy.
