Walker will bring entrepreneurial experience and leadership skills to the NDNU Board
BELMONT, Calif. (November 12, 2021) – Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) President Beth Martin announced the recent appointment of a new member to the university’s Board of Trustees. Joining the Board is NDNU graduate Phillip Walker, ‘00.
“NDNU has a long tradition as a center for academic excellence. I feel very fortunate to be part of the NDNU community, and I am honored to join the Board of Trustees,” said Walker. “With my business and community leadership experience, I believe that I can support the growth and mission of NDNU. More than anything, I hope that I can serve as an inspiration for future students of this university as a board member.”
Phillip Walker is the CEO of Network Solutions Provider, a southern California company that develops and implements technology-optimized business solutions to improve clients’ productivity, profitability, and efficiency. He has won numerous awards for his leadership over the past 13 years at Network Solutions Provider. Walker also plays a dynamic role in social responsibility initiatives worldwide, and he had been widely recognized for his and NSP’s philanthropic leadership in creating a top corporate social responsibility program. He is also launching several green tech incentives and diversity in tech programs.
“Phillip has embodied an entrepreneurial spirit as he pursued leadership roles in business and the community,” Martin stated. “We are excited to have him bring these skills to our Board of Trustees as we transform to a smaller primarily graduate university.”
“We are delighted to welcome Phillip to the Board, said NDNU Board Chair Sr. Jean Stoner, SNDdeN. “He has been successful in both his business leadership and his work in corporate social responsibility. We are proud of graduates like Phillip who can make a positive impact in their community with an eye toward social justice. He will bring this same passion and commitment to his role on the Board.”
