Notre Dame de Namur University Ranks High for Earning Potential, Excellence, Location, and Safety
Listings by PayScale.com, Money magazine, and Niche.com highlight return on investment, academic quality, secure San Francisco Bay Area setting

Belmont, Calif.—Three recent rankings of U.S. colleges emphasize the earning power and academic strengths of Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU). The website PayScale.com listed NDNU in the top 20 percent of U.S. campuses in terms of graduates’ earning potential, in a survey of 1,509 schools. NDNU graduates also scored high in sense of purpose in their jobs, with more than half saying their work makes the world a better place.
“We’re excited that Notre Dame de Namur University is being recognized for the quality of the education here, the opportunities our college provides for our graduates, and our great location,” said Provost and Senior Vice President Hernan Bucheli. “The results are in on the individual attention our students get from our outstanding faculty.”
Another survey from Money magazine of Best Colleges for Your Money 2018 includes NDNU among “the country’s top values.” The listing ranks campuses based on quality of education, affordability, and outcomes.
A recent ranking from Niche.com listed NDNU in the top 20 percent of all U.S. colleges in the categories of Best College Locations, Most Diverse, Safest College Campuses, and Best College Food.
NDNU also conducted a recent survey of its own alumni, finding that nearly half earn $80,000 or more. Notre Dame de Namur graduates also reported a 95 percent rate of employment.
