NDNU Welcomes Kurt Allen as Vice President for Marketing and Communications
Allen brings decades of executive experience in marketing, communications, strategy, and sales operations.
BELMONT, CA. (June 2, 2022) – Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) President Dr. Lizbeth Martin announced the recent appointment of Kurt Allen, as Vice President for Marketing and Communication. Allen has held leadership positions in a range of retail and financial services industries, with responsibility for brand development, customer experience, product marketing, and strategic marketing. Most recently, he served as Vice President for Marketing at Las Vegas-based Credit One Bank.
“NDNU has been providing high quality academic programs to generations of students. I am excited to help tell the story of NDNU using as many distribution channels and media as possible,” said Allen. “Because NDNU has pivoted to focus on adult learners and graduate programs, the challenge of proudly and clearly communicating the ‘New NDNU’ is among my top priorities.”
Allen is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, marketing, organizational behavior, and finance. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
“Talented, ethical, and experienced professionals who can bring innovative approaches to problem solving are essential members of my administrative team,” Martin stated. “As we transform to a smaller primarily graduate and adult university, we are excited to welcome back to Northern California an accomplished leader who understands our mission as well as the challenges of marketing in both digital and traditional media. NDNU has such a compelling story to tell future students and Kurt will help us effectively tell that story and market our unique academic programs. He will be a great asset as we continue to chart a path toward a bright future.”
