Undocumented Students
We are committed to support undocumented students at NDNU in their pursuit of higher education. Undocumented students, including DACA students, are not eligible for federal student aid, however, you may be eligible for state and/or institutional financial aids, in addition to private scholarships.
To apply for state and/or institutional financial aid:
Step 1
- Students who are California residents and have a Social Security card with words “Valid For Work Only With DHS Authorization” or “Not Valid For Employment” should complete the California Dream Act Application.
- Students who are California residents and received their Social Security Number through Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) should complete the California Dream Act Application.
- Students who have a permanent Social Security Number should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – to assure that the applicant is considered for both federal and state assistance.
Step 2
NDNU offers an institutional scholarship to support undocumented students. Please visit NDNU Scholarships and complete the scholarship application form. For more information, please contact the NDNU Office of Financial Aid at finaid@ndnu.edu or at (650) 508-3441 for further assistance.
